I've finished the Fresh As A Daisy afghan which is a gift for my friend who will be giving birth to her first child in March. I have to say that this is one of my favorite crochet projects. It was such a thrill to finish it.

  4. Hi Jessica! This pattern is in a Leisure Arts book call "Our Best Afghans A to Z" It's available at Wal*Mart but you may be able to grab it for less on ebay. :) I'd love to know when you start it.

  5. Hi BarbaraJean,
I love this afghan but am having difficulty understanding how to assemble this. Can you assist me? Do you assemble in strips first?
    Thanks for your help!!,

  6. Hi Mary! Square #1 is completed through all rounds. Each square thereafter is attached as you go. It's a fantastic concept and my favorite way of joining motifs. Once you learn how to do it you'll want to join all motifs this way.
It's just so difficult to explain in words, sorry. Do you have a craft store where somebody could perhaps help you work through the joining process?
